Pork Bone Soup Recipe

Serves 6
Ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 6 cups water
  • 1/2 lb. pork or pork bone
  • 1/8 teaspoon. finely grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup cilantro (add other vegetables if desired)
  • 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions 
  • 1/2 cup Carrots (optional)
  • 1/2 cup corn (optional)
  • Salt to taste
Directions:
  1. Start by heating the sesame oil in a skillet, then add the pork and ginger. Heat for aprx 5 minutes then drain any liquids and set the pork aside in a bowl.
  2. Boil 6 cups of water in a pot. Add pork and let it boil and the rest of the ingredients for 2 hours. Soup is ready when the pork is very tender. Add salt to taste
