Salt and Pepper Pork Recipe
Servings 4

-1/4 teaspoon Chinese five spice
-1 teaspoon garlic granules
-1 teaspoon salt
-1 teaspoon white pepper
-1 large egg, beaten
-2 teaspoons cornflour
-125ml oil
-1/2 tablespoon finely chopped red chillies
-3 tablespoons finely chopped garlic
-1 medium onion, diced
-1/3 teaspoon salt
-1 green pepper, diced (optional)
-1 teaspoon white pepper
-1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

1. In a small bowl, mix together the five spice, garlic granules, salt and white pepper. Use to season the pork. Let sit for 5 minutes.
2. Coat the pork pieces in egg, then dip into cornflour. Set on a plate and chill for 10 minutes.
3. Heat a large frying pan with 125ml oil over high heat. Pan-fry the pork until they are crisp, 2-3 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium and continue to cook until done, 2-3 minutes. Set aside, leaving 2 teaspoons oil in the pan.
4.  Heat the pan over high heat and stir-fry the chillies and garlic until fragrant, 2-3 minutes. Stir in the onion and salt, cook until soft, 2-3 minutes. Add the green pepper and pepper, stir until the mixture is dry. Add the pork, seasoned salt and mix well. Serve.
