Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe


Shrimp Fried Rice Recipe
Serves 4

Ingredients:
  • 4 cup cold cooked rice
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 cup shrimp, shelled and de-veined
  • 1-2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Chopped scallions
Directions:
  1. Heat oil in wok then add onions and heat till lightly brown.
  2. Add shrimp, salt, pepper, beaten eggs and pour over onions (scramble together).
  3. Add remaining ingredients and stir constantly to keep from sticking.

Szechwan Shrimp recipe


Szechwan Shrimp recipe
Serves 4
Ingredients
  • 12 ounces cooked shrimp, tails removed
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
Directions
  1. In a bowl, stir together water, ketchup, soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, crushed red pepper, and ground ginger. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in green onions and garlic; cook 30 seconds. Stir in shrimp, and toss to coat with oil. Stir in sauce. Cook and stir until sauce is bubbly and thickened.

Garlic Shrimp Recipe


Garlic Shrimp Recipe
Serves 4
Main Ingredients
  • 10 ounces shrimp
  • 3 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoons sesame oil
Marinade :
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon egg white
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon oil
Garlic Sauce Mixture:
  • 1/8 cup Lee Kum Kee soy sauce
  • 1/8 cup sugar
  • 1/8 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cooking wine
  • 1/8 cup seafood stock or water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
Group 1
  • 6 ounces sugar peas
  • 3 ounces sliced water chestnuts
  • 2 ounces diced red bell pepper (1 inch x 1 inch)
  • 1 ounce wood ear mushrooms
Group 2
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh garlic
Directions:
  1. Clean, peel and de-vein the shrimp. Use a thick paper towel to try off any excess water.
  2. Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl, mix well and marinate the shrimp for 3 hours in the  refrigerator.
  3. Combine the garlic sauce mixture ingredients and set aside for future use.
  4. Heat wok over high flame or heat for at least 20 seconds. Add 3 cups of oil and heat to 270 degrees.
  5. Add the marinated shrimp to the wok and cook for about 45 seconds. Pour the shrimp and the oil out and drain the shrimp well.
  6. Keep the remaining residual oil in the wok, then add Group 2 ingredients and cook for 10 seconds. Add the garlic sauce mixture and cook until it thickens.
  7. Add Group 1 ingredients and cook for 15 seconds over high heat. (If you are unable to maintain the cooking temperature, additional cooking time may be necessary.)
  8. Add the shrimp back into the wok and stir all ingredients thoroughly.
  9. Sprinkle sesame oil on top.

Fried Shrimp Recipe


Fried Shrimp Recipe
Serves 4
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. shrimp, in shells
  • 2 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dry sherry
  • 1 teaspoon. grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Directions:
  1. Marinate the shrimp in the shells for 15 minutes in the soy sauce, sherry and ginger. Drain.
  2. Heat peanut oil in a wok. When oil is ready, fry the garlic.
  3. Add shrimps and stir fry until the color changes. Add the green onions. Add the salt and sesame oil. Toss until the onions barely wilt. Serve hot. Let each guest remove the shells at the table.

Honey Walnut Chicken and Shrimp Recipe

 
 
Honey Walnut Chicken and shrimp Recipe
Serves 4

Ingredients:
  • 3 lbs. boneless chicken breasts, cubed 
  • 1 lbs shrimp (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dry sherry
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped, peeled fresh ginger root or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 4 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 5 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cups walnuts
  • 1/2 cups cut green onions, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
Directions:
  • In a bowl, mix cornstarch, soy sauce, sherry and ginger. Stir in chicken chunks and let it marinate for 30 minutes do the same for the shrimp in a seperate bowl.
  • Heat wok and add 2 tablespoons oil and the walnuts. Cook walnuts, green onions and garlic to wok. Remove contents into a bowl. 
  • Cook shrimp seperately then set aside.
  • Add remaining 2 tablespoons oil to wok then add chicken and its marinade. heat chicken until brown then add the rest of the ingredients.; heat throughly and serve immediately.
